From one rented unit to a community
Madina began with Jummah and daily prayers in a rented unit. With the support of our community it grew to serve families with youth programs, education and community assistance.
Today we are working toward a home of our own: a masjid, education center, community hub, sports and social services under one roof, insha'Allah.
Our mission
Madina Islamic Center serves Muslims and their neighbors in Springfield and Northern Virginia. We hold daily and Friday prayers; teach Quran, Arabic and Islamic studies to children and adults; run youth programs; offer family counseling, marriage and funeral services; and support families in need. Madina is open to all.
Open to all. Affiliated with none.
