بيتنا الجديدOur new home, insha'Allah
A permanent home for Madina, insha'Allah
For nearly fifteen years Madina has served Springfield from a rented unit. Now we have the chance to buy our own property, and end the worry over lease renewals, rent hikes and a landlord's decision.
Madina has $2,400,000 in savings from years of community support, set aside for the purchase.

لماذا الآنWhy now
We've outgrown the space we rent
Rent hikes, or a landlord who declines to renew, could interrupt prayers and classes overnight.
300+ students, four Jummahs and events of hundreds already share one rented unit.
Owning our property lets us plan decades ahead for our children, not lease to lease.
صدقة جاريةA sadaqah jariyah that keeps giving
One roof for everything our community needs
Education first
A learning center and real classrooms for the Taleemul Islam program, with room to grow into a full-time school.
A larger prayer hall
Room for Jummah, Ramadan nights and Eid without turning anyone away.
Youth and sisters
Dedicated space for youth programs and women's programming.
A community hall
Events, counseling and family services, all under one roof we own.
Ways to build with us
خطتناThe road ahead
From rented to our own
Every family is invited to give, and to give monthly.
The purchase of Madina's permanent home, insha'Allah.
Classrooms and a learning center open before anything else.
More prayer space, a community hall and room for every program.
Questions, answered
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Madina Islamic Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and you receive an email receipt for every gift.
Has a property been chosen?
Yes, alhamdulillah. The board will share the details with the community very soon.
Why give now instead of later?
The purchase depends on funds being ready in time. Gifts made now are what make it possible.
Can I give in someone's name?
Yes. A gift toward the masjid is a sadaqah jariyah, and you can dedicate it in honor or memory of a loved one.
